I have noticed lately that my website doesn’t fully load until you click the screen. This only happens in Google chrome. I am using Canvas Woo themes. Can someone please take a look and let me know why this is happening. I have tried clearing cache in chrome, but it turns out it’s not just my browser. Everyone else who is using chrome discoveries this issue as well. If anyone has some advice for this issue that would be great. Thanks in advance

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

Thanks for the response esmi. I have tried all of the above. I have also updated my WordPress. It still seems to be giving me a hard time. When I refresh some things will not load but all I have to do is either click or resize the screen and it shows up. It’s a chrome specific issue. The only thing I haven’t tried was resetting the plugins folder. Do I just rename it through the FTP folder? Any other options? Thanks so much.

Your site is not using the default 2014 theme.

I tried putting it on that theme already and it didnt change the fact that some parts of the website weren’t displaying. So I put it back to the Canvas theme

Okay I have activated the 2014 default wordpress theme. It seems like the whole logo section doesnt show up at all, but hopefully doing this helps you guys find the issue. Thank you.

If you have a custom header, you will need to upload it to this theme via Appearance -> Header. Other than that, I cannot see anything wrong with the site.
