I was under the impression that if I select to make an event Private undder Visibility, the event will no longer show on the Events List page. However, it still does. Is there something else that needs to be done so the event does not display on the Events List page?

Also, is there a way, or hack, to allow for private events on the front end, so organizers can choose this option when submitting their event?

    Thank you.

    Angelo, appreciate the information.

Please advise where to paste this code. I pasted it in my Events page, but it just duplicated all of my events on the Events List page.

Also, is there any means to allow for private events on the front end?

    Thank you.

Does your events page have the word CONTENTS written in it? If it does, you need to remove that and replace it with the code Angelo gave. It sounds like you had both things in there at the same time.

If you want to show a list of only private events, you can use

    [events_list private=1]

    Caimin,

Yes, I have CONTENTS written in the page. The page came that way. What does CONTENTS represent? If I remove it, will I loose any page formatting that is currently there?

    Thank you.

CONTENTS will be replace by EM with the events list and the shortcode above can be use in your wp page
