Can't access my own site

I can not access my own site. I entered my User ID, entered my “PW” Nothing happened, like it doesn’t even recognize it. So I tried “Lost my password” I have entered all the possible email address I can think of. it doesn’t tell me it’s a wrong pw or anything- it doesn’t take me to another page.
I initially I had my web designer purchased the WP and he supposedly “activated” and got the site started. It’s been working just fine, since this problem, he is NOWHERE to be found. And I don’t know what how he initially “ACTIVATED” and what email he used.

How can get back in to my own site and reset my password?
