Remove the grey band behind the navigation in Customizr theme

Hello, I am a newly converted ‘WordPresser’ I have been using Joomla for years and have finally seen the light and spent this weekend playing with WordPress and find it so much easier/quicker to produce the same end result.

I have one question: can i remove the grey band behind the navigation on wordpress Customizr theme, it just looks a little odd, i cannot find it in any of the settings, is there a way of using ‘firebug’ identifying it and deleting it that way?
