Adding Span To Widget Title

Is it possible to somehow add a span to the actual widget’s title (not the poll title)? I am not a professional coder of any sort, but I did attempt to add it myself and have not been successful. I also have a filter in my theme’s function’s file which adds span to all my widget titles, but for some reason it is not working for Yop Poll’s Widget title :(! If it is not possible to add a span to the widget’s title, then is it possible to somehow remove the widget title from showing up when posted? Thank you in advance, otherwise great widget so far!
