Featured Image on homepage (and on blog page) shows poorly

    I am having a similar issue as this post:

    However the solution to the above thread is a custom size that I do not think applies to my site, which is https://OrianaPhotography.com

    I have tried different amounts of sharpening and resizing photos, yet the featured images — both on my homepage and on my blog featured images, which I believe are two different sizes — always degrade significantly. The same image posted in a gallery or body of blog look ok, but when its in the slider as the featured image it looks blurrier.

    Can someone help me figure this one out?
