    Hello wlimbertie,

I’m thinking about to make a manual to help people to setup Lupercalia Theme, maybe soon.

Let me see if I understand you. Do you want to set a static front page instead to use the default blog page?

You have to add two new empty pages, one to be used as front page and another one to be used as a blog index. You can give them any title, like “blog” to your index blog page and “home” to your front page, for example. After that, you need to go to Settings > Reading and mark “a static page (select below)” and then select those two pages you just have created.

    Hope that helps you!

    Hi wlimbertie,

Please, would you mind to use the review page to rate and tell me what do thing abort this theme and make me improve it? Any suggestion is welcome.

    Thank you!

    Hi Jose,

A manual would be very helpful. I am spending a lot of time with trial and error – currently looking for a way to change the pink line and pink colour of the header font into something else. Failing all the time, quite frustrating.

Another thing is that I cant find out how to influence the number of posts shown below the big image on the posts front page. And so on, it would be really nice if you could provide some help.

    Many thanks,

    Carmen

    3xtr3m3,

first of all, change color is not one of the features of this theme, I made it pink, but anyone who has any basic knowlegde about CSS can do it very easy. I’m thinking about create color schemes, but it’s not possible to create a scheme for each color existed. I am sorry for your frustrating. I am still working on a manual.

Second, you have to Apparences > Theme Options and you will see that option you mantioned.

    Hope it helps you!

    Hi wlimbertie, yes, there is.

You are using a small pic, you should pick a widescreen one. The sample image I used it to ilustrated is 1600×600 size, you should try an image with at least 1280px large and crop vertically, because this theme is responsive (works on pc, tablets and smartphones) and if you pic a small pic it will stretch out it.

You should use something similar of what you are using on your Facebook cover page. A widescreen image… I really like how your website is looking like. It fills very good with you company.

Also, you should remove your logo background. Just google it if you don’t know how to do it.

    Hello,

I am trying to adjust the front page branding slider. Currently the pics I have added are too large on the screen. I have edited the sizing in terms of scaling them down however they are still too large on the site. Is there a way to adjust the space allocated for the pics in the branding slider? how can I decrease the pics w and height?

Where exactly are you getting this error? It seems to be not related with the theme, it is more like some issue with your host.

You asked me about the branding slider size, I post a link above in which I already answered this question, you have to edit your images and make all them the same size. I even posted a example there, take I look!

I clicked on your link provided where you answered the question. The first link did allow me to open the slider sample png however when I clicked on the second link that was the response.
You said you posted an example here, take a look…did you include another link?

The first link is still down

The second link is of an image, im assuming the correct size for the slider image.

I will continue to check back for updates. Please let me know as this is one of the last pieces needed for completion.

    Thanks again~
