Cannot check/uncheck pages

Cannot check/uncheck pages (appearance > widgets page). Page gets grayed out when I try to click, and when I click anywhere on the grayed out page looks normal but again I cannot change any option.
I was usin v 1.24. Upgraded to 2.0.3 still the same.
