Read documentation – nothing shows up
-
I’ve installed this, configured it, read all the documentation, and have checked to enable it, and yet no option to upload any file shows up anywhere during my process. Could there be something else at work?
Site is nmsuroundup.com.
Thanks!https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-upload-my-file/

Hi nmsuroundup,
- WooCommerce Upload My File works best with WordPress 3.8 or above.
- WooCommerce Upload My File needs WooCommerce 2.0.15 or above, but works best with WooCommerce 2.1 or above.
- Our plugin shows a upload box on order detail page AFTER checkout
- Please make sure the correct order status is set in plugin settings
All above checked? And still no luck? Please provide us with more information about your installation.
Best regards,
BartOkay, I’m at woocommerce 2.1.5, wordpress 3.8.1, and the boxes checked are “completed, on-hold, pending, processing.”
I do get an option to upload, but only in the email, there’s no page redirect (I was expecting that, but if the only option is in the email that’s fine, I just wasn’t sure).
However, the link goes to “https://wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=woocommerce_checkout&order=4383” which is a dead link, and when I manually add in my domain name before /wp-admin it gives me a ‘session expired’ message. Any suggestions?
Thanks Bart!
Wow! That’s strange!
Is it possible you send me a temporary login for your site? I would really like to solve this, but from your description it’s hard to say what’s wrong. Is it possible I have a look at it myself?
You can find our contact details on https://wordpress.geev.nl/contact/
If you send it to us I will get back to you asap.Best regards,
BartMy boss isn’t in yet so I haven’t been able to ask her. Is there any specific place i can take a look, or copy over any code to forward you, in the meantime?
Thanks!I have the exact same issue. Any help?
Hello to you both,
This could have several reasons.
Could you provide more information? The link in the email will be corrected in the next version I will release within a couple of hours.
Best regards,
BartOK! Just upgraded and so far the link is still apparently borked.
Oop, no, the link’s working. Still don’t see it after checkout and have to get to it through the e-mail, but the link seems fine. Thanks!
Hi,
Maybe this is caused by a template override from your theme.
Have you tried it with a default WP theme? For example Twenty Fourteen?Normally an upload button will show up in order overview (but this can disappear by a template override) and after that upload boxes will show up on the order detail page.
Best regards,
BartAhh, I’m using Wpzoom Alpha, so that could be it. Switching to default theme would be …troublesome enough that I’m wondering if I can implement wrappers instead to see if that works. Is that an option?
I have the same issue too. I’m very interested in purchasing the pro version, but worried about functionality issues. If I was to go ahead and purchase, would you offer resolution to the problems?
I’m also having the same problem even with the default theme – running latest versions of WP and WooCommerce
It’s difficult to say if it is related to the same problem. It can be caused by a theme conflict or a conflict with another plugin. Difficult to say.
I am not allowed to give PRO support by these forums, so please contact us by email if you need more information about our PRO plugins.
Normally it should work out-of-the-box and all plugins are tested with default themes and many WooThemes themes.
@geev Hi Bart, Please this is very urgent, My Client will bury me alive if I don’t get this to work TODAY !!! NOW. I installed the free version to show my client, and suggested that I buy the Pro version on his behalf.
The free version worked ok. as stated in plug in description.
I have WP latest version, Woo commerce Latest version. Minimal other plug ins. this is very important to my clients business, being Launched on TV , Radio and in Print TOMORROW. and Now customers cant upload files for printing, as the Pro Plug in does not work. for all of the same reasons above. After the sale is complete, an email is delivered to customer, with a link to upload files, Clicking on the link takes customer to ( My Account) Woo Commerce – using Woo Themes Superstore. Child theme, (CAN NOT CHANGE TO ORIGIANL THEME) Must use basic Child theme, The only thing that is different is Header .php in child theme and color change of Main Nav bar CSS that is all. The Header is running a .gif animated banner, nothing special just simple .gif file. everything else is Standard woo commerce and standard woo super store theme. all other plug ins are Woo standard Basic Plugins. Again Nothing fancy or unusual. and The Upload file does not show up in any links that the customer receives. I would very much welcome you to log into the site to help me, I am desperate for help, and this is very urgent, my life almost depends on it! I do not understand the contact links on your contact page of your website, the don’t seem to go anywhere when clicking on them. In fact nothing seems to work with your site except going round in circles trying to locate any kind of helpful information, Premium support link does not work in the Plug in page of the plug in inside Word press either. It’s like there is no support. So hopefully by posting here, with hopefully god on my side, you might see this and answer.
Kind Regards member011 – Australia. :))
