    newbie getting starter… now trying 2013 and 2014 themes

    I am using mostly PAGES and the title I add is the same one chosen as a menu item…

    Q: Is there a way to….

    1 – hide the title on the page if I need to?

    2 – make the menu item be different words then the title if I need to?

    1. Yes but do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

    2. You can do that via the “Navigation Label” field that is available for every item in your custom menu. Just click the small triangle to the right of the menu item that you want to change to reveal the attributes for that item.
