ERROR: Dropbox API: (502) Invalid response.

I have a scheduled weekly backup job on my site that used to work perfectly, but I now get the following errors in the log when the backup job has been completed:
ERROR: Dropbox API: (502) Invalid response.
ERROR: Dropbox API: (7) couldn’t connect to host.The backup file is however successfully transferred to Dropbox after the 3rd attempt.
When I manually run the job everything works exactly as it should the first time.Is this something I should be worried about or is this normal for a file of approx. 400MB?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
