download of file is forbidden

  • hey
    i got a problem i can attach files in to my posts but when i click them theres always the 403 page that i dont have permission to access the folder on this server. is this a problem of wordpress or my server.
    sorry if the question sounds stupid but have no idea how to solve the problem and yes i know the search function in the forum.

    ok problem is solved, it was a problem of the file on the server, i had to give read rights to the file to all users. it was not working with read rights only on the folder…
