Thumbnail is blurry/pixelated

    So I am really liking this plugin. I’ve tried some others and had problems, but this one actually works! My one issue is that the thumbnails for my images are pixelated. Does anyone else have the same problem? Does anyone know what would cause that or how to fix it? I’d really like to use this plugin but am not sure I can with the blurry thumbnails. The actual images are totally fine. FYI, I can’t provide the URL because I am working locally.

  • I have the same issue (also working locally so no example). In my case, it looks like it’s being caused by generating square thumbnails out of rectangular images. My square images seem to generate clear thumbnails. Maybe you can have a look and see if that’s the case for you as well.

    Dear DaisyDesigner,

    Before uploading an image, you should provide dimensions for the generated thumbnail at the top of the Media Upload window or leave it to default value set in the Thumbnail options (Options Menu). In Thumbnail options (Options Menu) you provide the dimensions of the image, which will be displayed in the front end as a thumbnail. This should be smaller than the generated thumbnail to keep the quality of the image.
