broke my visual editor. Fix?

I installed the plugin and it instantly broke my visual editor, in FireFox anyway, on any sites I look at using that browser. It’s gone. I’ve deactivated, uninstalled, cleared the cache many times, no luck. tried many other fixes. no luck. What gives?
