    Hi,

Love this widget but I have a small query. I have used it on my website to hide the left sidebar when viewing on mobile.

However, when I view the site on tablet, the sidebar disappears (as it should) but still takes the space it would take if it was there.

In this case, I would like my container to be 100% width instead of 70% thereabouts.

Any clue on how I could achieve this? I am using Customizr theme.

Thank for any help in advance.

There’s already a solution in the plugin.

Look for an option in Restrict Widgets settings called Modify is_active_sidebar function. Just enable that. And if your theme is using this WP function to control sidebar display (as it should) it will now behave accuratelly.

    Hi dFactory.

Thanks for your reply about my query. I have enabled the is_active_sidebar function as you mentioned but still no change on tablets.

I have double checked if the theme uses this function to control the sidebar display and it seems to have it.

Is there anything else you could suggest?

    Thanks in advance.

We’re using this on dozens of different site so there must be a different problem here.

However it’s impossible to debug without diving to your site’s code. If you’d like we took a closer look please post a support topic here: https://www.dfactory.eu/support/forum/restrict-widgets/
