• I’m having a problem with the custom password field.

When users are signing up, the custom password is being display, however once the form is submitted, an email is still sent to the user with an autogenerated password to login with.

They are also unable to login to the site with the password they set, and must use the auto generated one to login.

I have had to disable this feature for the moment as this is an active site.

Any ideas why this could be happening? Is there any issues with WordPress 3.8.1?

I have tested and disabled multiple plugins, as well as setting the login and register pages to not be cached all to no avail

Ok I have identified Woocommerce as the conflicting plugin now, any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

I have the exact same problem !!! Please help !!!!

I’m also seeing this on one of my sites. I’m sure it was working before so I think something has changed in the latest WooCommerce update.

Yep, I’ve seen a few people post the same problem on the Woocommerce forums, so something has obviously changed in the latest Woocommerce update which is conflicting with it.

Haven’t heard anything from the developer, so I had to go and write a custom login/register setup in the end. It’s only when you do that that you can appreciate the work the dev has put into this!

    Any updates on this ?

    The same problem here ??
