    Thanks for getting in touch. During which step in the plugin’s setup process did you see this error? This can sometimes occur if incoming connections aren’t allowed on the server. Specifically, if you can whitelist 50.97.194.22 (the IP address used to connect to MailChimp via the plugin) and make sure you can connect to sopresto.socialize-this.com from your server, does that help?
