Footer not going full width
-
I’m using the twenty twelve theme. I’ve added three columns of text to the footer.php file (yes, I *know* I should create a child theme…but bear with me). They look fine on when I check the site on different browsers on desktop machines. However, when I check the site on mobile, the right-most column of the footer goes to 4 lines instead of 3. I haven’t a clue why.

Specifically, the mobile browsers are breaking the top line into two lines, so that the individual’s name is on two lines rather than one. Is there any CSS magic out there that can fix this?
(Also…if this has any bearing on the issue, I removed the <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width” /> line from the header.php file to fix the display from rendering only the left half of the page on mobile.)
Any help would be appreciated.
