    The example shortcode from the efficientwp.com page includes spaces inside the [ and ] delimiters. These cause the shortcode to fail.
    They currently mention it on the page but it’s an easy trap to fall into.

    Sorry for the late reply! Thanks Tom for answering this for me.

    I’ve updated the documentation page (https://efficientwp.com/plugins/genesis-simple-page-sections) to remove the spaces in the shortcode example and make it less confusing.
