Cant save app_id and secret

  • 1. Open wp-admin/admin.php?page=facebook-application-settings
    2. Type in App ID and App Secret input boxes.
    3. Click save button.
    4. App ID and App Secret input boxes are empty. No any message.

    I expect app_id and secret saved on step 4 or an error message shown.

    1. Open wp-admin/admin.php?page=facebook-application-settings
    2. Click save button.
    3. Reloaded with message Setting Saved.

    To make sure that the Facebook plugin works right without saving app_id and secret.

    Check the information displayed for your site’s ability to communicate with Facebook servers over HTTPS by viewing the debug submenu item.

    I am encountering the same issue. I am new to WordPress and I tried installing Facebook Plugin into my website. I cannot save the App ID and Secret ID.

    I also did not see any Debug Submenu in the Admin Dashboard under Facebook.

    Please assist.
