Blog Page Not Showing Posts

    Hi.

    For some reason, my blog posts aren’t showing up. They were, but not now. I’m not sure what I did. Now, when I click on The Scoop in the nav. bar (blog name)it goes to a page, but not the posts. If I click on my side nav bar, then I can get to the posts.

    I didn’t mess with any code (I don’t know how to do that.)

  • Where’s this side nav bar where there’s this link to the blog page?

    Have you set this “The Scoop” page as Posts Page?
    Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading -> Posts Page

    (you have to set a static page as front page to have that)

    Hi, and thanks for the quick response.

    I finally figured out how to search in these forums (the word “search” is so tiny – at least, the one I found and used.) Anyway, I found the answer.

    I appreciate you taking time to check things out. I marked this as resolved.

    So what was the problem?
    And.. no you didn’t mark this as resolved, not yet, at least ??

    I forgot to hit the change button. Shut it! :p

    On the customizeit! page, I needed to change a setting. On the front page section, I had “don’t show any page or posts.” That hid other options, so I didn’t see how to attach to my posts page. When I changed the setting to a static front page, then I saw the posts page option, and was able to make the change.

    Kind of a “duh” moment, really.

    Yeah you could change it that or in the wp settings.
