Note : Total file size is huge. Zip creation will take time. This page may timeout before its completion. A fix for this is a work-in-progress.

Thank you for the bug report.

I am working on a fix for this – for the last several months. Still I couldn’t find a solution. I am sorry for the inconvenience. But this seems to be a tough nut to crack; atleast for me ??

    Any help is appreciated.

I don’t know what the problem is so I can only speculate on a solution.

Assuming the problem is that something is timing out, I would break up the zip file into zip files of a size specified by the user … say 20 megs a piece.

So if I had 100 megs of pictures, I would break up the files into

    DML_20140323_130000_001
    DML_20140323_130000_002
    DML_20140323_130000_003
    DML_20140323_130000_004
    DML_20140323_130000_005

assuming the user specified 20 mes per DML piece. (The download was requested on March 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. GMT)

    Does that help?

Thanks mate. Let me investigate on those lines.

The problem is that the total time to zip the complete files is greater than 30secs. So the browser will reset the connection.

So the only option is to schedule the operation to a later stage and mail a download link once it is done. I was trying along those lines. Couldn’t initiate the zip operation when the event got fired. ??
