Please can this plugin be responsive? thanks in advancee ??

The help page in the admin contains a lot of information on how the plugin works. But basically you can do the following steps to get started with a World Cup pool (when using the default settings):

    1. Install the plugin
    2. Import the matches from the supplied csv file
    3. Add users

That’s all there is to get started.

If you want to use your own matches (not the FIFA 2014 World Cup), you will have to add teams, stadiums, at least one match type, at least one group and then the matches.

I am working on a responsive layout for the next version (v2.4.0).

It’s taking longer than expected. I wanted it to be released already, but it’s not yet finished. It will surely be released before the world cup. I guess 2-4 weeks from now. But it also depends on the amount of support questions on the forum and in my mail how much time I can spend on the plugin.

Thank you sooo much for the quick responses. Am a lil new to wordpress and sorry 4 d embarassing questions I do ask…but i still dont get the feel of the plugin yet on how to use. I have installed and activated as u said, also imported d world cup file. what next?…how do i add user or make them register or log in or do any thing…please assistant needed.

Also think you should consider making a quick short video tutorial of how its used, nd all functionalities, so some of us would grab things easier.

THanks again and keep up the great work

Put a registration link somewhere in your menu or in your text to make users register for your website (the registration form is found on the following URL /wp-login.php?action=register in a default WP install).

The same URL without the action (/wp-login.php) is used for the login. The plugin also has a widget that adds a simple login button.

An instruction video is a nice idea, but with the info in the help file, some basic WP knowledge and a bit of trying I think most people will find their way.

Hurray!!! think am getting how plugin works now. Thanks so much for ya help :). I imported the world cup file but the flags dont seem to be showing. Also I edited the dates of some matches in order to practise the use of the plugin more, but it seems even after I put in the scores in the matches, a user can still edit his or her predictions, is there no way to stop predictions after/before X-time. X being an arbitrary figure.
    Thank you.

You have to download the team flags seperately and put them in the assets folder (the import screen has a link to the flags and other images).
Or you can edit the teams and use the WordPress media upload to put in your own flags.

The options admin screen has an option to set the prediction limit. There are two options: one stop date for all matches or a timeframe before each start time of a match.
You cannot limit the user to just one save. The idea of the plugin is that users can change their minds until the prediction stop has passed.

    Hi Antoine
Great work thanks very much, where is the import screen that has the link to the flags and other images? I have imported the schedule for world cup all the games show up but need to figure out the flags and images.
    Thanks for your help.
