I am having an issue that I hope someone can help me resolve.

CF7 is working fine on one of our websites. On another, it isn’t sending out emails.

Both sites are on the same server. I have tried turning off all plugins that the working site is not using, but that hasn’t helped.

One thing I’ve noticed is that on the working site, when I click send and get the success message, there’s an added #wpcf7-f30-p14-o1 at the end of the URL.

When I click send on the site that isn’t working, I get the success message but nothing changes in the URL.

The affected website (and page that I’m trying to get working) is https://charlottesville.scoutology.com/cvillemakeover/

    Any help is immensely appreciated.

Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

Thank you for your reply, Takayuki Miyoshi. I just tried deactivating all but the CF7 plugins and switching to the Twentyeleven theme.

Still no email. I spoke with GoDaddy earlier today, and they could see emails going out. However, the emails are not being received. I’ve tried sending to both a gmail and a yahoo email address with the same lack of results.

I don’t really think this is a CF7 problem, but I figured someone here might still have a solution.

I’ve tried SMTP plugins to no avail. In the debug portion of wp-email-smtp I got the message ‘Message dropped for spam or virus content.’ However, I haven’t found anything on how to fix it.

As I said, CF7 is working fine on another website on the same server, with all of the same settings enabled (e.g. To, From, etc…).

Again, any insight is greatly appreciated.

Just spoke to GoDaddy again. They think it might be an overly aggressive filter.

They said they would remove any blocks, which may take up to 72 hours.

So, if anyone else out there is using GoDaddy and emails are not being received, I would suggest trying wp-mail-smtp. Set it up with the host ‘relay-hosting.secureserver.net’ and port ’25’ and no encryption or authentication.

Send yourself a test. If it says ‘bool(true)’ at the very top, then it means the emails are being sent by WordPress. However, if you scroll down to near the bottom of the test result and find ‘Message dropped for spam or virus content’ it likely means that GoDaddy’s filters are at fault.

Give them a call and tell them about the debug message. Hopefully, they can rectify the situation.

    Best of luck.
