Multiple parents and anyone editing the hierarchy

Awesome plugin! Saved me a lot of time, but
1)I know a couple of years ago you were not considering adding multiple parent functionality. Has anything changed? May be some hack? ??
2)Is there any way for users to change group hierarchy options? Right now only admins can do that. Am I understanding correctly?Thanks!
