• Hello.

Hoping for some clarification on the function and use of the Queries and Loads script (most seem to put this in the footer).

Is this the cummulalative number of times each blog page is accessed (queried), and the average number of seconds it takes to load each page?

We’re looking to track the page views in our blogs, and instead of using a counter script, I’m hoping my assumption on the use of Queries is correct.

    Thank you!

  • To the best of my knowledge it is only for the load of the current page you’re looking at.

You might look at the Performancing.com’s Metrics or Google Analytics — along with a raft of stats plugins — for some tracking options.

I am looking looking at some stat plugins. Thanks!

Not that I’m aware of, unless they’re already using a stat plugin (counting page loads is not built-in to WP). Got an example of a site displaying this information?
