• My site loads normally most of the time, however, occasionally it seems to load a previous version of the database. It load old posts and pages, and tries to load a header image which no longer exists (resulting in a blank image).

Also, once it happened when I was in the admin console, and in the Media section I could see a whole bunch of images which I had previously deleted.

I am using 3.8.1 with the following plugins:

    Akismet
    BackWPUp
    Contact Form 7
    WPML
    Raw HTML

I installed WPML today; could that be the source of the problem?

    Thanks

    Ian

Can you check with your hosting providers as to whether they have some sort of server-side caching? I saw someone complaining about the same sort of issue with their hosting providers.

Interesting… I seem to have fixed it by disabling the Akismet plugin. I have no idea why this worked. Anybody want to hazard a guess??? ??

EDIT: Never mind. That didn’t fix it, although it seemed to at first. ??
