flexmls IDX plugin working two MLS subscriptions

    Hello,

    I subscribe to two flexmls accounts and two IDX WordPress plugins; one for each MLS. I would like to display both plugins on my site, but I’m not sure how. Setting up one is a synch; no prob. But there’s only one API configuration for the key and secret, so I’ve just got the one IDX plugin set up for now. Here’s the site: lpbroker.com When I originally subscribed to the IDX’s over the phone, the flexmls representative told me that it’s possible to have two IDX WordPress plugins, and that I should set up a “network of sites”. Well, I’ve done that and have the second IDX on the second site, networked through my main site. But I don’t know how to connect them…how to display the second IDX plugin on my main site. Can anyone help? I’m relatively new to WordPress, and have learned a lot in the past few weeks. So, please lay it on me so I can learn…but spell it out so I can understand, too!

  • Hi lpbroker,

    First, you need to make sure the plugin is enabled for the network. This will be under My Sites>Network Admin>Plugins. If the flexmls? IDX plugin is not activated for the network, there will be a link under the plugin title “Network Activate”. If it is already activated for the network the link will say “Network Deactivate”.

    Second, edit the site you wish to add the second MLS to – From the Network Admin dashboard this is under the Sites menu option. There should be an edit option under each site you have. Once you are editing the site, go to Settings>flexmls IDX, here you should be able to enter the API key and secret for the second MLS and click Save Settings.
