    Dear MZ2014,

Did you set define(‘WPLANG’,’nl_NL’); in wp_config.php config file? If you set define(‘WPLANG’,nl_ML’)it should be translated automatically. You can modify the translations from wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/languages/ (you will need POEdit https://www.poedit.net/download.php).

Hello webdorado! Thank you for the help. I thought the wplang influenced the backend language, but apparantly that is not the case! The word “back” is now displaying in Dutch, thanks! One problem with the word “Item(s)” though, not only isn’t it translated, it sticks the number to the word. So it says “6item” for example. To be honest, I don’t really want this text anyway, is there a way to remove the image count altogether?

    Dear MZ2014,

Yes, it is possible. If you are using the Pro version you can remove it going to Photo Gallery->Themes->Select your current theme->Page Navigation and set “Numbering” option to No.
