How to get page loaded on newly created Page ?

  • Hi. I have gone to Create a new ‘Page” in the WP admin and curretly have the choice to name the Page (which then becomes a menu link on the front page) and also to choose a template (either ‘Default’, ‘Contact’ or ‘Archive’

    I actually want it to link to the forum that I currently have in place on my server at /forum

    How can i get the new page menu link that is created by inserting a new page point/redirect within my blog to /forum?

    many thanks for the tip. tried it out but it does not work as I thought it would. I uploaded and activated the plugin and then entered the <redirect https://www.mysite.com/forum />

    Instead of keeping my menu header and loading the forum page beneath (to appear seamless), the page loads and tells me

    ‘OK The document has moved here’ , where the here is a hyperlink to https://www.mysite.com/forum

    This is far from seamless and am sure is not the way this plugin was intended as I could easily just put in a hyperlink myself..

    Have you or anyone else got this working in the way that I am looking for?
