Yes I do I just started working on the site as I’m new to WordPress. I’m starting to switch over my current site I did last year to WordPress to make it mobile responsive. The link is https://wmlmusicguide.com/wp/

ok, but where on that particular page is the widget supposed to be ?

i cannot see anything there that looks like it has been (tried to be) included/added to that page ?

I installed the widget per the installation instructions given and uploaded it to the widget page on the Content Sidebar, I intended to place it above where it says WML Directory.

what do you man by “uploaded it to the widget page on the Content Sidebar” ?

i cannot see anything on that page the even looks like it’s trying to load that plugin or any of the required files that go with it ?

did you just drag and drop the widget into the sidebar or are you using a shortcode ?

After I installed the widget I uploaded it to the wp-contents folder. Afterwards I activated it went to the widgets page then just dragged and dropped the widget into the content sidebar. I also used the settings and information in your screenshot for Michael Jackson.

Where am I to put the shortcode? Forgive me I’m new at this.

    a couple of things.

after you install it , you don’t need to upload anything anywhere. looks like your installation is in the wrong place (as going to https://wmlmusicguide.com/wp-content/plugins/itunes-lookup-widget just throws a 404/page not found)

so, either just install it through the normal wordpress -> plugins ->add new etc or – alternatively as it seems you have been doing it – put it in the *plugins* directory (so your directory structure would look like ./wp-content/plugins/itunes-lookup-widget)

forget the shortcode for the moment. your issue seems to be more basic than that.

i would suggest , delete /uninstall whatever it is you have done with this plugin and start again by just using the normal “add plugin” option in wordpress
i.e plugins->add new . then search for “itunes lookup widget” ->install ->activate and go from there

I did as you said and the widget still doesn’t show up on the site. Where do I go from there after I finish activating the widget?

    (@ollybach)

hmm, still cannot see anything that suggests its installed
