• Hey,

I’m thinking of making one of my new scripts i’m making compatible with wordpress themes. Its not a blog system or anything like that, but originally i thought of it just to make it easier to intergrate my custom wordpress theme into my new script.

Would using wordpress themes for anything else other than wordpress be against TOU? Of course copyright information would remain where applicable. And the script im making itself will not contain any wordpress code apart from the same function names and layout.

    Regards,

    Beav

  • My understanding is it would be completely up to the theme’s TOU. If it’s a freely downloadable theme, then porting the XHTML and CSS shouldn’t be a problem, as long the TOU are kept.
