hide-subpages-from-the-sidebar

I am using Theme 24 and simple custom CSS and I would like to remove subpages from the sidebar. I have opened the Simple CSS admin page on my blog (https://www.technosource.net/3Dprinting/wp-admin/themes.php?page=simple-custom-css.php&settings-updated=true) and tried to insert this code, then clicking update but it did not work

Any suggestions?
