Conditional Use of BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM in Reply Email

    Hi all,

    as you can use different forms for different events, I create a form for a single person for an event entry end a form for a person with accompanying persons. Let’s call a field for one of those: #_BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM{accomp}

    Within the reply Email for registration I put:
    Name of further person: #_BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM{accomp}

    When I use the single person form, the Email will contain in plain words: #_BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM{accomp} instead of the name.

    Do you have an idea how to overcome this. Is it possible to create a condition by implementing a function?

    Those placeholders only work with the Pro version of the plugin. Do have EM Pro activated?

    Hi,

    yes I am using the PRO Version. The custom fields are already in use.

    But I have no idea how to implement selective function to find out which fields are used for which form, to send a confirmation mail to the client which only contains those fields which are also used in the respective form.

    Let me detail my question:

    Form 1 is holding fields
    Name and Phone for example

    Form 2 is holding fields
    Name and Phone and Accompanying for example

    If i use Form 1 now, then I would like to reply to the client only with the information about the two fields. If I reply to Form 2 then the client shall receive information from the three fields. If I use the #_BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM{accomp} within the Mail settings in the dashboard of the Events Manager, and I use Form 1, then I get an entry in the Email which is #_BOOKINGFORMCUSTOM{….} at the place for the second person when Form 2 is used.

    I hope this makes my question more clear.

    hmm, you might need to use additional coding to do this since this isn’t available out of the box.
