Yeah, I’d like to know that too.

My current website has two sections that are protected by a login/password for members only. Right now I’m using htpasswd for that. It’s not clear from the docs of this plugin if something like that is possible. It mentions a ‘private site’ but that uses wp-login. I don’t want viewers to be a able to edit anything, just restrict certain sections.

Hey Eoms, I’m looking to also have a couple pages protected by a login. I’m kind of a rookie though, is htpasswd easy enough to use?

I can’t really find a good solution to this.

htaccess only works on my non-WP website, where I put it in the folder I want to protect. I haven’t found a way yet to use it with WP.
