Changing background vid

Hi, I’m having the same problem. After I delete the youtube video ID for the video that comes standard with the template, I enter the video ID for the video I want, and it doesn’t update–it keeps playing the original video from the template. I’ve tried deleting the video ID completely and updating, and the background changes to blank, then when I paste my preferred video ID back into the box, it reverts back to the video that comes with the template. Help!

Hey Magee, sorry to bug you again. I re-installed the updated theme (thanks), but now when I enter my youtube video ID, instead of the video I want, I get a random video about sending a balloon into space. I’ve never seen this video, I don’t know how it’s playing as the background video. Here’s my youtube video ID, in case that’s helpful: RAABls9aG6A

The way to resolve this issue is to find and replace the ID into the admin-options.php and the index.php this worked fine for me.

Hi I have just installed the template (and love it) but am having trouble with the background video I’d like to play in the background.

I have placed the correct video ID in the onetone options > section 1 > section background video field, but it is not playing the video through; there’s just the first frame of the video frozen on my home page as the background image.

When I go into Customise > site title and tagging – and then make a change and hit ‘save’, it shows the video correctly playing through in the preview pane on the right side of the window – but not when you view the actual site.

Can you please help?

I’ve been wanting to use this theme for ages because it looks amazing but I’m having doubts…

I don’t want a background video and even though I have removed it, the default vid still overrides my background image.

I’ve updated to the latest version of the theme and still, no luck.

Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong?

I have updated to version 1.1.2 – the problem still persists.

update to version 1.1.2 and clear the background video field in section 1.

I have an issue too. I deleted the youtube-ID in section one. If I put a different youtube-ID in any section (e.g. 2,3,4 etc). I will not show in that specific section, but in section 1 instead.
How do I fix this?

I have:
1. updated to version 1.1.2
2. deleted the background video in section 1
3. hit ‘save’
4. the video was successfully deleted and not showing on the home page
5. then I went back to the background video field in section 1 and replaced the video ID back in the field, hit ‘save’
6. the video is again only showing the first frame as the background image, not playing the video in the background.

Can you please assist?

There’s no option to change video anywhere.

I have wordpress 3.8.2. Spanish version.
