for our sites, we couldn’t get this to work with 1.5x and WP 3.8.1/2.

I would suggest if you’re also seeing this issue, to revert back to 1.4.25 for now, if you still have that as an installer, or from FTP backup of your site (which is good practice to do). This is a good example of why it’s critical to keep downloads of any plugins one relies on and not simply over-write via the panel each new update.

Going back to 1.4x solved ALL our problems with both Webmaster tools and some other weirdness with the news plugin for Yoast.

    Hope that helped. ??

I have not updated and heard it’s very complicated to go back to 1.4 after upgrading. What steps did you take to downgrade?

This is a brand new website so I never installed 1.4.25 and would prefer to fix this version if possible as it seems like it should be an easy fix. The sitemap that is broken doesn’t even have any links, and I’m not sure why the sitemap was generated at all.

What is a “types” sitemap anyhow? And why was it generated if it’s empty? Can I turn it off somehow? That would fix the issue. https://attorneyteresabacho.com/types-sitemap.xml

In the older versions you can uncheck the sitemap functionality. I see that yours is still blank.
