Looking for a plugin for a directory…

I have a wordpress blog setup for a local church and they want to list their members (on a password protected area of the site).

I’m looking for a plugin that would be like a phone book style directory, but with some extra information like kids and birthdays, etc. They would prefer if just the names showed up on the main page, and if you wanted more information on that family you could click to expand.

Does anyone know of a plugin that would do this? I’ve searched member directories, phone books, etc etc…can’t find anything quite right…
