Sorting with case sensitive

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorting is case insensitive by default, as far as I know.
Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

For reproduce the issue, please follow the test link here. Please filter the column (Day/Eve).

But, i just realized that, the filter column shows as seperated (Day vs DAY). But, the filtered result contains both.

Yes, the ColumnFilterWidgets Extension will show the entries separately, but when the filtering or sorting are performed, they “catch” both upper and lower case.

So, chances to settle as the ColumnFilterWidgets Extension – should show as single value, regardless of case sensitive..?

sorry, I don’t know a solution to that ?? This would have to be changed in the JS code of the ColumnFilterWidgets code from https://datatables.net/extras/thirdparty/ColumnFilterWidgets/DataTables/extras/ColumnFilterWidgets/ . I didn’t develop that however, so I don’t know how to change it. Sorry.
