• I recently performed the update to 2.0.4 and now my calendar breaks daily. Here’s the message on the back end:

  • I’m getting the same error. For me, seems to have to do something with searching events. If I turn off the option for searching events, the error goes away. Hope there is a fix for this soon.

    @jeffofthemorth what option?

@ethan5150 we are looking to fix that, simply reactivate the plugin.

@nicola.peluchetti “Exclude events from search results” on the first tab of the settings.

I have the same error message. Do I just click deactivate, then click activate again? I do not want to lose all my events. I have a lot in there!

    Please advise, thanks!

When re-activate the plugin I can navigate to the settings and see the list of events, however it doesn’t display on the front-end.

Then the plugin simply disables itself again. Very frustrating!

    More feedback for you.

On the local version of the site (which works), the “Theme Options” page displays correctly.

However, on the live version this page simply appears blank.

@pixelkicks we auto disable the plugin to avoid crashing the whole website which would be more annoying than just having to re enable the plugin by clicking on the link in the dashbord.
Anyway please try with version 2.0.5

I updated manually (there was no notification of an updated version in WP) and I got a blank screen in the admin section. The site (a local site) still worked, but without the widget and events page. I changed the name of the folder, then tried to reactive the plugin. I got the following error: Fatal error: Class ‘Ai1ec_Exception’ not found in […]wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/all-in-one-event-calendar.php on line 28.

I went back to version 2.0.4 and it works again.

Jeffofthenorth – can you provide a download link for 2.0.4 – I need to roll back too. I’m hoping I can do that rather than doing a complete site restore…

Thanks! Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to have brought my 1000 or so missing events back from the grave though…

    So irritated with this plugin…

    Hello,

Can you please try the following to see if it resolves your issue:

ftp to your site, and copy public/admin/agenda-widget-form.php to public/themes-ai1ec/vortex/agenda-widget-form.php

    Overwrite any old files.
Go to your Events > Theme Options > and click Save options. This will recompile your CSS.

Please let me know how this goes.

    Thanks

I don’t seem to have that file. I assume you’re talking about the /public_html/wp-admin/ folder? That php file is not there.

Ok, this interesting. I uploaded the site with version 2.0.4 to my live server and I got the white screen. I was only to get out of it by changing the directory name. The live site is on a shared server with not a lot of options, but I went it to the different to see what was going on with the PHP settings. I turned on the option for FastCGI support and everything started to work again. Hope this helps for someone.
