Pagination ignored in better search template.php

Hello,
I am using better search but when I attempt to paginate through the results it only returns the first page.
The url is: https://local.wordpress.dev/?s=omnis
When I paginate the url is: https://local.wordpress.dev/page/2/?s=omnis
But it still displays the results from page 1.
How do I properly pass in the current page to the bsearch_clean_terms function
