Can't add self-hosted blogs to Android app

  • I have two-factor authentication setup on both my self-hosted WordPress sites.

    I cannot add my sites to the WordPress Android app unless I turn off two-factor.

    I tried going to (WordPress admin panel on my site) > Users > Your Profile and checking “Enable App password,” and then trying to log in with the generated app password on the Android app, and it didn’t work.

    How can I add my sites to the app?

  • Be sure you SAVE your changes to your (WordPress admin panel on your site)->Users->Your Profile and checking “Enable App password”.

    I just tried it and it (finally!) worked for me.
