Incorrect IP address detected

  • Our office hosts several client websites on a server that lives elsewhere. When I log into these sites that we host, Better WP Security detects my IP address as the server’s IP, instead of the IP address I’m actually using.

    This wouldn’t necessarily be a problem except that I am now locked out, because someone else is currently attacking the site with login attempts and the plugin is detecting their IP address as the server’s address as well. Why is the plugin showing the server’s IP address, and can this be fixed?
