Some problem with my genesis child theme

  • I just uploaded a Sample Genesis child theme on my dashboard.
    I’m trying to modify some aspects concerning colors of my font, background and menu.
    This is my blog ethink.ro and I want to make the following changes:
    a) Change how the menu looks
    b) Change the orange text into black. Exceptions: the hyperlinks in a blog post and the “Read more” text
    c) change the font and background colors in my footer,
    I want my blog to look like this: https://www.genesisframework.com/

    I tried using Genesis Design Palette, or copy the CSS code by inspecting the elements. It doesn’t seem to work.
    Can anyone help me?
