My Domain is Pointing to WP but where is my email?

  • May be a dumb question but I have new WP Hosted Blog (loveofriding.com), I pointed my GoDaddy registered domain to the WP blog successfully. Where or how do I admin mail such as:

    [email protected]

    Well, I’m not sure how one would “admin mail” in the first place, however, email has nothing to do with WordPress or the web at all. GoDaddy probably hooked your domain up with free email through them, so I suggest you log into your GoDaddy account and check out what you got on your domain.

    If you want to run your own mailserver, then you just need to set it up somewhere and then change your domain’s MX records (in DNS).

    Okay I see, nothing to do with WP. I’m actually just hosting the name with GoDaddy so I guess I don’t have email set up. Any email associated with this domain must just go into email nothingness. Thanks!
