Emails not sending from multiple wordpress websites. problem started same day

So about a week ago wordpress stopped sending email. I was using contact form 7 and have attempted to troubleshoot using other threads i found but i have not been successful.

the websites i manage are:

https://www.curtismcguire.com (godaddy)
https://www.michigannlg.org (fatcow)

both sites are having the same problem.

Here is what i have tried:

I have set up STMP using the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. (when a test email was sent, it said it was successful, but no email came)
I have tried having wordpress send a password recovery email. did not receive.

I’ve tried everything i can find and understand online from other thread and forums.

This is a massive problem for the michigannlg.org website – as we used contact forms to have people communicate with us (I’ve since removed all of them)

I am not an experienced programmer. Im self taught and struggle at understanding a lot of the nomenclature used in the coding world.

Any help is appreciated.
