Forum posts not working anymore

My forum has stopped “working” First my forum menu link stopped working. I created a URL link to lightson.fr/forum. I could then see the forum directory and could see top level directories but can not access posts. Even creating a post does not work. I know this is a conflict with buddypress groups that each has a forum. All forums were under “groups” and were associated to a BP group. Now some are under group and some at the root level. I am pretty sure the problem is from installing a plugin that did not work for me called groups hierarchy. I deactivated the plug in but now I am left with a hot mess. Any suggestions on how to get things back in order? None of the php has been changed so is there a go around directly in the database?

I have created 2 menu items “Forum” that does not work and “The Forum”
