    I attempted to update WordPress earlier, though it told me there was an error in doing so. Then, I could not do anything on my dashboard and my website said something along the lines of “Scheduled Maintenance. Check back soon.”
    Shortly after that, I began getting the following error when trying to view my website or once I logged into WordPress:
    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/67/4949167/html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 622

    https://naomiliz.com/

    When trying to log into wordpress, it allows me to enter the user name and password, but then gives this error message over and over. At the bottom it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    I was troubleshooting with Godaddy and they couldn’t find it. They suggested restoring to a backup database file (which I have from 2 days ago). I did that and it’s still not working.

    I finally located the specific file in my file manager, and what I think it says on line 622 is this:
    foreach ( $wp_plugin_paths as $dir => $realdir ) {

    So….I think this is the error. But I don’t know what it *should* be in order to fix it and give me permission to get into my dashboard.

    Anyone else having this issue?
    Still unable to access my dashboard and I don’t know what I need to change in this file…

    I am unable to access my dashboard too. I get this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _relocate_children()

    A lot of people are having trouble logging in after the update.

    Hmm. Seems a lot of people are having a similar issue.

    Well, Godaddy was nice enough to take a look at things based on what I told them (even though it’s a WordPress issue). My primary issue was with a plugin (it was the one I updated right before I tried to update WordPress). They disabled it from the back end.

    However, still unable to get into my dashboard–it says this once I enter my login:
    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    Help!!

    Okay, seems to be fixed. I had to manually update WordPress from my hosting control panel.
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update

    Still, once I’m in my Dashboard, it’s telling me that “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.”

    However, when I click on it, it tells me this:
    “You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically.

    If you need to re-install version 3.9, you can do so here or download the package and re-install manually”

    So I’m planning on waiting until the next update. Making sure everything is backed up at the moment. Ugh, this was not a fun way to spend my weekend.
