I installed the Events Calendar in a local WordPress installation. Instead of installing through the WP backend, I just copied and pasted the .zip file into the plugin directory. Doing it this way seems to wipe out the list and calendar styling.

The WP plugin installation processes asks for FTP credentials. I’ve never had to do this on the local sites, instead just drag-dropping into directories.

The plugin works fine and looks great on a remotely hosted site. Is there a way to fix this on the local install. Note: there are no errors looking for missing stylesheets, they just aren’t showing up at all.

not a server versus local issue, theme issue instead.

    Howdy claybaby,

If your server does not support one click updates you will be prompted for FTP credentials. More info:

I am glad the plugin is working great. Based on your last post you might have resolved this already by figuring out something with your theme.

If stylesheets aren’t showing up double check that the plugin was installed properly. You might run through the usual plugin install procedure via WP-Admin > Plugins > Add New instead, that generally eliminates room for the problem being with your unzipping utility or something.

    I hope that helps! Cheers.
