I haven’t this problem in any installation, or feedback from other users. Can you check this. Please check the console of the browser for errors.

I don’t know very well what to do with these error messages and what they mean:

there is obviously a file add-quicktag.js where the console shows this:
    “TypeError: b is null”:

    https://screencloud.net/v/oX3W

    https://screencloud.net/v/41yO

Using WP 3.9 network installation, AddQuicktag enabled only on certain blogs, not network-enabled. Working with Firefox 28 on Windows 7 prof. 64bit.

Before updating to WP 3.9 from wpde.org, AddQuicktags worked perfectly – since the update the buttons are gone – in the “visual” and in the “text” editor when writing a post.

And above all: at the “text” editor (not visual) are ALL buttons gone, not only those from AddQuicktags!

I switched then to Theme “Twenty Thirteen”, to check if it’s a fault in the theme files – but also with TWENTY THIRTEEN theme, there are no AddQuicktags buttons in the “TEXT” editor.
All plugins are disabled – still no success ??

    EDIT:

I found out another strange thing: if I delete ALL my AddQuicktags from its settings page and LET THE PLUGIN ENABLED, then there are no BUTTONS AT ALL, i. e. also NOT the standard buttons, only in the VISUAL (tab) editor!

Do you have a note inside the web inspector, F12 in Chrome and bottom right, a red or yellow icon.

I don’t use Chrome and with Firebug with Firefox (WIN) I can’t find any “warning”.

It is possible to get a access as admin. I can’t resolved this problem in a install, from a lot of installs.

Fixed in priv. call. Was a problem from a other plugin.
